Warm soup for R’fontein’s homeless
The youth group of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints handed out soup and bread to the homeless.
The youth group of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have different projects during every school holiday. They decided to give back to those in need in their community during the winter school holiday.
“We handed out soup and bread to every homeless person we knew about. We identified spots all around town and visited them to hand out the food,” said Zandile Thulo from the youth group.
They handed out soup and bread to the homeless on Wednesday, 3 July.
