The Randfontein Community Library which has been closed since 11 June will reopen again next Tuesday, 18 June.
According to library assistant Michelle Devadasan, the library has to do an annual stock take.
We take this time to make sure that all books are scanned into our system and we organise our selves.
“This also gives us the opportunity to remove old and damaged books and to put new books on our selves for the community of Randfontein to enjoy,” she said.
She apologised for the inconvenience and wanted to ensure their customers that they won’t be fined for not returning their books during the week.
“We have already given extension to some of our customers who had to return their books during the time we were closed. We will be open to the public again from 18 June and customers can return their books then,” she added.
