Big Easter celebration in Vleikop

Families enjoyed an unforgettable, fun Easter outing in Vleikop this past weekend.

Many families were treated to a fun day on a smallholding in Vleikop in celebration of Easter on Saturday, 20 April.

Zayden Putter, Tersia Putter and Zelyna Putter have a family outing.

According to Karen Botha, coordinator of the family day, “When I realised that many children on the plots do not go out a lot, I came up with an idea to make Easter special for all of them”.

E-Jay du Preez and Carla Jansen van Vuuren were at the Family Fun Day.

She added that during the day, children enjoyed various activities including jumping castles, swings and Easter egg hunting. They were also showered with goodies, while their parents were socialising with other members of the community while enjoying refreshments.
