#WisdomWednesday: Why run the Comrades?
VIDEO: The 2019 Comrades Marathon Substitution Process closes soon, so the Herald asked a Comrades addict on why one should be there.
The Herald hit the streets recently, because the 2019 Comrades Marathon substitution process deadline is Monday, 15 April.
Rowyn James, Comrades Marathon Association’s (CMA) race director has urged aspirant #Comrades2019 athletes to get their applications in before then. The substitution process allows for a runner who has not already entered to be substituted for an entrant who has withdrawn or intends to withdraw from the race. The 2019 Comrades Marathon takes place on Sunday, 9 June. This year it will be an up run with a race distance of approximately 87km.
