Family worried about missing Toekomsrus man

Radiot Anthony Khano's family has been looking for him since he went missing from his home in Toekomsrus on 16 March.

Radiot Anthony Khano’s family has been looking for him since he went missing from his home in Toekomsrus on 16 March.

According to his brother, Oscar, Radiot was very depressed about being unemployed when he went missing.

“He visited me in Pretoria for four weeks and I took him back to our mother’s house in Toekomsrus on 16 March at approximately 2pm. I went over to my wife’s parents while he was unpacking his things. He was home alone so I went back 20 minutes later to make sure he was fine, but he was gone when I returned,” he said.

Oscar said the house was locked and Radiot’s phone and his bag were still there. He added that someone came forward on 17 March and said they had seen Radiot walking towards Randfontein the previous day while carrying a small black bag.

The Khano family reported Radiot missing at the Randfontein Police Station and none of them has heard anything from him since.

“Our whole family is worried sick. We just want to know if he is still alive. We contacted the local state hospitals and the mortuaries to find out if he was there, but he wasn’t. When we reported him missing we even asked the police to search their records, but he had disappeared without a trace.”

Radiot was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt with black jeans. He has a light complexion, a bald head, brown eyes and a beard.

Oscar said that anyone with information about his brother can contact him on 078 558 1200.
