Three elderly killed in bus-SUV horror crash
Horror crash between bus and SUV on the far West Rand left three people seriously injured and three elderly people dead.
Three elderly people died and three others suffered serious injuries when a bus collided with an SUV on the N12 outside Fochville on the far West Rand last weekend.
Ross Campbell, ER24 spokesperson said the accident took place after 5pm on Sunday, 3 March.

“ER24 paramedics as well as provincial services and the fire department were on the scene at 5.10pm to find that two men, aged 70 and 83, as well as a 72-year-old woman had suffered multiple injuries and showed no signs of life. They were declared dead on arrival.
“Two others from the SUV and one male in his mid-40s from the bus had sustained serious injuries and were taken to a private hospital in Carletonville. A total of 38 other passengers from the bus elected not to be taken to hospital.”
Campbell added, “The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown to ER24, however police were on scene for further investigations.”
