Get to know a ‘Teiner’ #101 — Trust Ncube

The 101st person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces himself.

Meet our ‘Teiner’ of the week, Trust Ncube, 22, who has spent most of his time in Randfontein since leaving his birth country Zimbabwe.

The young and humble chap, who originates from a village called Kezi, said he is grateful that he gets to provide for his family while enjoying his life as a young man in Randfontein.

“I have only been in South African for a year now, but I am proud to have speedily learnt one of the most spoken languages here, especially in Johannesburg, which is Isizulu,” Trust said.

Although he would like to refine his Afrikaans and English, he said so far, he has felt welcome in the Randfontein community with his business.

“At first I was not sure whether I made the right choice to come here, but within a few weeks I settled in nicely and got to understand people of this town. Even though I do not live here, I spend most of my days here. This is the place where my bread is buttered. Thank you very much, Randfontein for showing your love and support,” Trust added.
