‘Voice Against Child Abuse’ event coming soon
The Bekkersdal Police have partnered with NGO Matla A Bana to speak against child abuse in less than two weeks.
The Bekkersdal Police have partnered with NGO Matla A Bana to speak against child abuse in a programme themed ‘Voice Against Child Abuse’ in less than two weeks.
The event will be held at the Zuurbekom Intermediate School between 10am and noon on Wednesday, 27 February.
According to Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, “The child safety programme was developed by Matla A Bana for primary schools and it has been presented during their Xtremeforkids cycle tours with the purpose of educating the kids about the reality of child abuse and how to report it and assist.”
