Please fix Randfontein again!
Come out in the open about why things aren't being done in town!
I have been a resident of Homelake for years. The area and town looks bad.
The grass at the railway is not being cut nor is rubbish being removed. The potholes in Homelake are a continuous issue, especially at a primary school and its adjacent street.
All the plants are growing over at the bridge and on the side – it is very bad and the potholes on Railway Road in Homelake are an eyesore. They also steal our power lines in the streets – this means no streetlights – and nothing is being done.
I saw a big advertisement in the Herald dated 1 February 2019 that council is requesting residents to ‘Please pay your accounts’. We do pay every month in full, but we get nothing in return. Again no rubbish removal this past week and I am not surprised.
So, dear Mr Chief Financial Officer of the West Rand District Municipality, what is really going on?
