Two men aged 22 and 24 have been arrested for stabbing a victim during a home invasion at the Mandela informal settlement in Bekkersdal last week.

Lefakane added that both men demanded money from the victim.

“The suspect with a knife pointed it at the victim while the other one searched him. The suspect took the money that the victim had in his pocket and before making their way out, the one with the knife stabbed the victim in the shoulder.”

“The matter was reported to the police and through investigation conducted by the West Rand Trio task team, the suspects were identified and brought to book.”
