• 1 and 2 February: The Michael Jackson Tribute Show in Roodepoort

The King of Pop will be brought back to life with a two-day show at the Roodepoort Theatre. According to Joburg.co.za, “Experience the music and the magic from the exhilarating dance routines to songs such as Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat it, Remember The Time, Dirty Diana and many more”. Impersonating Jackson will be Michael Jonathan, who is said to have all the moves, twists and turns that the late Jackson was world-renowned for. • 2 February: Lauryn Hill coming to Johannesburg

Lauryn Hill has announced the addition of a South African date to her World Tour, celebrating 20 years of her anthemic debut solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The GRAMMY® Award-winning artist kicked off the European leg of the 20th Anniversary Tour on 18 November 2018 in Brussels, before the tour continued through France, the UK, Ireland, Holland, Denmark and Sweden before culminating in Norway on 11 December 2018. Die 2019 Randfontein Skou sal vanjaar van Donderdag, 28 Februarie tot Sondag, 3 Maart by die Greenhills Stadion plaasvind. Die program is onlangs amptelik bekendgemaak en lyk so:

• Soos altyd skop die Skou Donderdagaand af met die gewilde Pom-pomkompetisie vir laer- en hoërskole. Die Ghoema-wenners Tussen Sterre sal as gaskunstenaars optree.

• RSG se Brêkfis met Derrich-program word regstreeks vanuit die Skou se markiestent op Saterdag 2 Maart van 8vm tot 10vm uitgesaai. Kaartjies is teen R250 by die Skoukantoor beskikbaar en sluit skoutoegang, ontbyt, ‘n geskenksak en vermaak deur kunstenaars Fatman en Caroline Grace in.

• Daar is ook ‘n splinternuwe Fiesta Kuiergat langs die markiestent waar skoubesoekers na al hul gunstelingkunstenaars kan luister terwyl daar heerlik gekuier en geëet word.

• 2 March 2019: The Chainsmokers live in SA for the first time

• 9 Maart: Gospelsangers maak harte oop vir Just in Time in Randgate

Lede van die musiekgroep Back to Worship beplan ’n spesiale diens om bewusmaking te skep vir die behoeftes van Just in Time Baby Sanctuary in Greenhills. Die diens sal om 4nm by AGS Randgate plaasvind. Vier musiekgroepe van Praise and Worship West Rand sal tydens die diens optree, maar die hoofdoel van die diens is om Georgina Caetano, stigter van die plek van veiligheid voor te stel en Just in Time se behoeftes met die gemeenskap te deel. • 11 to 15 March: West Rand Careers Exhibition coming to Randfontein

The Rotary Club of Krugersdorp is once again coordinating the West Rand Careers Exhibition for the 29th consecutive year. It will take place in the Greenhills Hall at the Greenhills Stadium, on the corner of Homestead Avenue and Northway Road, Greenhills, Randfontein. Learners wishing to visit the exhibition can do so on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am until 1pm. The exhibition closes daily at 1pm. • 16 March to 26 April: The Parlotones Live SA tour kicks off in the West

• 21 to 24 March 2019: Dazzling Frank Sinatra international hit show to tour South Africa
