Tea party for Wawa, Child Foundation
A fundraiser for a good cause was recently held in Loumarina by Randfontein's 2019 Mrs Elite finalist, Janine Pretorius
A fundraiser for the Feed a Child Foundation and Women Against Women and Child Abuse (Wawa) was held on Saturday, 8 December at Fabulously Farmish in Loumarina.
The event, in the form of a tea party, was hosted and coordinated by Randfontein’s 2019 Mrs Elite finalist, Janine Pretorius.
“We are collecting items such as food and clothes, as well as any other items that you may think necessary,” said Janine.
Janine also praised all the community members for taking part in the initiative, and said that the women who were in attendance were taught about body care and being better mothers.
“We would also like to thank all the community members who were part of the initiative. They made sure that what the initiative meant to achieve became possible,” Janine added.
