Chruch donates sanitary products to the Connies

This donation means that the Connie Mulder Center can take the money they would’ve spent on sanitary products and use it in another way.

The St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Randfontein’s Mother Union donated three bags of sanitary towel to residents of the Connie Mulder Centre.

They handed over these products on 7 December. Gordon Henney, CEO of Connie Mulder Centre said that every donation, big or small, helps their cause.

“Every month we buy all the residents all the toiletries they need, including sanitary products for the ladies. This donation means that we can take the money we would’ve spent on sanitary products and use it in another way,” he said.

Gordon is a member of this church. The Mothers Union was founded only six months ago and they decide to collect and donate the sanitary products. He said that the center really appreciate everyone in the community’s effort to help them.

“We are going to use the extra funds to give every resident an unforgettable Christmas,” he said.
