The U-Save outlet in Mohlakeng was targetted by robbers on 16 June at approximately 1.30pm.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, the shop’s employees were busy in the shop when three suspects entered the shop.
They forced the 30-year old complainant to open the cash register and removed money.
They then apparently forced the employees at gunpoint to the office of the shop where they took more cash and then fled from the scene.
No injuries were sustained and no shots were fired.
“The suspects are not known, but ID kits will be compiled to identify the suspects,” says Ernst.
“ID kits will be made available as soon as they are completed.”
