Pizza and pampering in pyjamas
The purpose of the event was to pamper every woman, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend for Women's Day.
Reinette Herbst, Mrs Africa 2018 finalist spoiled the women of Randfontein on the eve of Women’s Day during her Pamper in Pyjamas event.
The purpose was to pamper every woman, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend while enjoying something to eat and each other’s company.
The event was held at the Fabulously Farmish Function and Wedding Venue and many local businesses were also represented. They gave away great prizes, pampered the women and used the opportunity to tell the attendees more about their businesses.
The women were spoiled with massages, quick make-up lessons and lucky draw prizes to the tune of more than R10 000. The prizes were sponsored by Bakery Delighties; Ocean Basket Randfontein; EA Make-up Academy; SMH Hair Studio; Crystal Clawz by Celeste; Gesundheid; Loelins Arts and Crafts; B-fit Fitcamp, and many more.
“It was good to see women relaxing and escaping their worries for a while. I wish we could do it more often. It’s nice to know that God loves us – on our high heels and in our pyjamas,” Reinette said.
She also used the opportunity to raise funds and collect matric farewell dresses for underprivileged girls. The charities involved were Africa Pageants Foundation; Deskbags; Nzuri; Dignity Dreams and Matric Farewell Genie.
“Thank you to all those who attended the event and for all the generous donations towards the Matric Farewell Genie and Dignity Dreams. I am blessed to have so many wonderful friends,” Reinette said.
