Moddies ends netball season on a high
The U/12A and U/13A netball teams participated in the D2 Championships where both teams obtained an overall third place.
Two netball teams from Laerskool Modderfontein Primary in Westonaria excelled in this year’s netball season.
“The U/12A and U/13A netball teams experienced an extremely successful netball season once again,” said Taryn Harms, the U/12A netball coach.
Taryn, together with the U/13A netball coach, Moinene Reed, helped these teams to achieve this feat.
Both teams won the leagues in which they participated during the 2018 season. The teams went on to participate in the D2 Championships where both teams obtained an overall third place.
“At Moddies we strongly believe that talent wins games, but teamwork and dedication wins championships,” Taryn concluded.
