What not to miss in sport this weekend!

Here’s what’s happening in the sporting world on 4 and 5 August.

The Herald has compiled a list of some must-see sporting action to be broadcast on television on Saturday, 4 August and Sunday, 5 August.

SATURDAY, 4 AUGUST:

• Rugby:

It’s the Super Rugby final! The good news is that for a third consecutive year, SA’s Lions will play in the grand finale but the bad news is that they have to do it against the Crusaders away from home. The Lions failed to beat the Hurricanes in the final in NZ two years ago and failed to beat the Crusaders at home last year, but will it be third time lucky for the Lions? Don’t miss it and tune in from 8.30am for the build-up followed by the live match from 9.30am.

• Football:

Also catch two SA school teams namely Paarl Boys High School and Paarl School going head-to-head at 3.55pm.

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, try the following …

• Both semi-finals of the 13th edition of the Women’s Hockey World Cup in London (hockey) at 2.50pm and 5.15pm respectively.

• Day three of the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational (golf) from 6pm

• Qualifying of the Czech Republic MotoGP (motorcycling) at 2pm

• Day four of the first Test between England and India (cricket) from 11.55am
