Tips for staying young looking

Anyone who's ever fallen head over heels in love or discovered an activity that makes them eager to jump out of bed knows that passion is a powerful drug

Let’s face it, you are not as young as you used to be. Each and every day you are getting older. Fear not, because we have some tips that will help you stay looking young.

– Consume more fat

The healthy kind, that is. Omega-3 fatty acids (found in salmon, walnuts, and seeds) help stabilise your mood, maintain bone strength, and help prevent visible signs of aging by reducing inflammation in the body.

– Get off the couch

Not only does regular exercise help you lose weight, tone muscles, build healthier bones, and boost mood, it can also help you think clearly. Studies cited by the National Institute on Aging demonstrate a connection between physical exercise and better brain power.

– Feel the love

Anyone who’s ever fallen head over heels in love or discovered an activity that makes them eager to jump out of bed in the morning knows that passion is a powerful drug.

– Drink red wine

Last autumn, a groundbreaking study showed that mice on a high-fat diet supplemented with resveratrol, a substance found in the skin of red grapes, had longer average lifespans than those not given the resveratrol.

– Don’t overeat, keep the same weight all the time

People often make a habit of eating three big meals a day, but when you desire to lose weight (or to stay thin), it’s better to adjust your eating habits – try to eat smaller portions, but more often than only three times a day. This will boost your metabolism and it will be a lot easier to maintain great figure.

– Hydrate and moisturise your skin daily

There are so many products on the market that can help you to nourish and hydrate your skin. If you are sensitive to cosmetic creams, you can also use totally natural products, such as rose hip oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil, and grape seed oil.

– Focus on the bright side

Being happy makes you look young and beautiful, and a good positive mood has a great deal of influence on the way you look and feel.

– Feel young at heart

Remember to take time for playing and having fun. Embrace your inner child and “wake up” to the excitement and beauty of life.

– Get your beauty sleep.

Getting enough sleep regularly can help boost your energy levels, relieve stress and keep your weight down. Getting at least six to seven hours of sleep every night can help you to feel and look a lot younger than your real age!
