Two killed in Sunday head-on collision
An early morning crash on the R501 in Carletonville left two men dead.
The drivers of two vehicles were killed in a head-on collision on the R501 in Carletonville during the early hours of Sunday morning, 10 June.
Annine Siddall, the ER24 spokesperson said, “At about 1.10am, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found both drivers trapped in their vehicles. Upon further assessment, paramedics saw that there was nothing they could do to save either of them and they were both declared dead on the scene. Both men were believed to be in their 30s.”

The exact details surrounding the accident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
