Winter begins but the fun doesn’t stop at Silverstar!

It has once again ramped up its offering, proving that the West Rand’s premier entertainment destination remains top of its game – no matter the season! • The Square:

On Saturday, 9 June, 16 June and 23 June, Silverstar’s Square will be alive with the sounds of passionate sports fans as it’s transformed into Boktown! From the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, to all of the biggest Springbok games, Silverstar will be screening these events live on the largest outdoor screen on the West Rand. • Until 15 July: We are the Champions at Silverstar Barnyard

Get ready for the tribute of all tributes as we celebrate the music of five of the greatest pop icons of all time, in We Are the Champions! Michael Jackson, Elton John, Tina Turner, Pink and Freddie Mercury will all be seen on one stage, in one show, singing number-one hits from the last five decades of pop and rock music! • 13 June: Waste roadshow in Westonaria

The South African Waste Business Forum is inviting all waste entrepreneurs, namely waste-pickers, buyback centres, cooperatives and companies, to the last of its two roadshows in the area. • 9 June: Saturday Social Club at Emperors’ Palace

After a successful debut launch, the Saturday Social Club is getting ready for its second installment, featuring Fokofpolisiekar (or Polisiekar for the less controversial), Sweet Resistance and Six String Stories at the Red Roman Shed, Emperors Palace. The Saturday Social Club is a brand-new series of music concerts taking place throughout the year at the Red Roman Shed. • 23 June to 15 July: Dinosaurs of the Lost World at Cradlestone Mall

Something big and exciting is coming to Cradlestone Mall this winter! In conjunction with the cinema release of Jurassic World 3, prehistoric creatures will come alive as they bring the Dinosaurs of the Lost World to the mall, just in time for the chilly school holidays. Annie Jr features everyone’s favourite little redhead in her very first adventure. Little Orphan Annie has come a long way since she first made her pop culture debut as a comic strip in 1924. Since then she has been reincarnated into a radio show, films and even a Broadway hit.
