Off to the UK and not even a Bok yet!

Young talented rugby player from Culemborg Park is ready to play the game he loves abroad.

Richard Ashmead, a Culemborg Park resident is a young, talented rugby player who is ready to play the game he loves abroad.

Richard, who attends Monument Primary School, was one of the star players selected after the Westville Rugby Festival to join its U/11 Invitational Team that will be representing South Africa on a tour to the United Kingdom in December.

The young rugby star will be competing in a number of matches that will not only expose him to the sport on an international level and the respective opportunities available to him, it will also serve as an incentive for future success.

The tour will stretch from 7 to 15 December and is being organised by Travel and Sport, an internationally recognised tour operator. Richard, who has had a passion for rugby since the tender age of five, only has limited funds available.

He is therefore appealing to various organisations to sponsor him in his bid to achieve excellence in rugby through international exposure. For further information, please contact Sue on 084 251 1548 or visit www.travelandsport.com.
