Three escape death in head-on collision
Three escape with minor to moderate injuries in Westonaria head-on collision.
Three people were lucky to only sustain minor to moderate injuries in a head-on collision between two light motor vehicles in the Simunye informal settlement in Westonaria on the night of Wednesday, 2 May.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.15pm to find one vehicle in the middle of the road while another vehicle was found on the side of the road.

“Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that three people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities.
“The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Leratong Hospital for further care.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
