The Bekkersdal Police have arrested ten suspects for possession of drugs and dagga since Sunday 1 April.
The suspects, who are between the ages of 21 and 36, were arrested during the Bekkersdal Intervention operation.
“The officers arrested the suspects while conducting their routine stop-and-search operations.
The suspects made a brief court appearance and some are still expected to appear before the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court on charges of possession of substances suspected to be drugs and dagga,” the police said in a statement.

Station commander Brigadier Abraham Nkhwashu commended the members for a job well done and thanked them for their dedication to their duties.
