Wife of soccer legend donates shoes

Sixty pairs of shoes were donated to her Alma Mater, Mohlakano Primary School, while the remaining 20 pairs were donated to Lukhanyo High School.

Thato Ntsoelengoe, a former learner at Mohlakano Primary School and wife of the late Kaizer Chiefs legend, Patrick Ace Ntsoelengoe, recently donated over 80 pairs of shoes to needy learners at two schools in the Mohlakeng area.

Sixty pairs of shoes were donated to her Alma Mater, Mohlakano Primary School, while the remaining 20 pairs were donated to Lukhanyo High School.

Thato also attended Mohlakeng Higher Primary School, Phahama Secondary School and the Universities of Bophutatswana (Unibo) and North West.

Molifi Ngakane (principal at Mohlakano Primary School) with learner Mathapelo Sereko and Thato Ntsoelengoe.

This donation came about as a result of Thato’s 50th birthday party, when she requested those who attended the party to kindly donate pairs of school shoes for the really needy learners.

She said that she saw it fit to give back to the school that formed her educational foundation and her 50 year celebration could not have come at a better time.

“I am an accountant by profession,” she told the learners. “I want you to be the best you can ever be, and with education you will be able to afford whatever you need, even an expensive car.”
