A concerned resident recently contacted the Herald regarding a gruesome find at the Randfontein dumping site.
The photos forwarded to the Herald show a dead dog, and a lot of intestines, decomposing in the sun.
The resident said there were about 20 dead dogs close to animal intestines. According to two official reliable sources, dumping animal remains at public dumping sites is illegal.

Seeing that people are living at the Dumping site, it is an extreme health hazard, as unfortunately, children also play on there.
The Herald is investigating this issue, and will get comment from all relevant parties.
