One killed in weekend crash
One dead, another injured in suspected rollover crash over the weekend.
One person was killed and another was injured in a vehicle crash at the R501/ N12 intersection in Carletonville over the weekend.
Both men are said to be in their late 20s.
It is believed the bakkie they were travelling in rolled. According to Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson,
“Paramedics arrived at the scene at 7.50pm on Saturday, 29 July and found another emergency service already on the scene. They declared the one man dead on the scene.”
The other man, whom they found lying outside the bakkie, had sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Carletonville Hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known, but will be investigated. Police and fire brigade members attended the scene.
