Lenmed staff fixes potholes for Madiba

Lenmed Private Hospital staff fixed potholes as their 67 minutes on Mandela Day.

Lenmed Private Hospital decided to turn 67 minutes for Mandela into one whole day of giving on 18 July.

The day started with the staff members buying and delivering groceries and school necessities to Eldard Child Home in Randgate.

Later the maintenance and security men from Wisdom together with the hospital manager, matron, marketing assistant and Maternity Ward unit manager decided to make life a bit easier for all the drivers who use the road to and around the hospital.

Everybody jumped in to fix the awful potholes in the road past Bongweni, leading to the old Kagiso/ Azaadville Road.

“It was such an awesome experience. Taxi and mine-van drivers were all hooting at us to show their appreciation.

This will also be great for ambulances driving to the hospital,” said Ofentse Pharumele, marketing assistant at Lenmed.
