I would like to inform you of this to encourage residents to stop dumping garbage, specifically along Botha and Edelwiess Streets.
There is also a dumping ground near the old Libanon Mine. We all live in this town. Please try and keep it clean. If you see dumping, confront or report the culprit.
Our town council, specifically the Accounts department, which is very helpful, do their best. However, dumping is becoming a problem.
Also, the burning of the same rubbish is illegal and can result in a heavy fine. It can also result in damage to property as the entire piece of veld between the R28 and N12 could go up in flames.
Hope to keep Westonaria clean.
