UPDATE: Ex-husband accused of murdering wife back in court

Just three days to go till Magistrate Elbie Botha will decide whether or not the man accused of murdering his ex-wife will get bail.

The ex-husband who stands accused of murdering his ex-wife Candice Fritz (née Fritz), 37, will appear in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court again on Thursday, 18 May to hear if his bail application was successful.

Magistrate Elbie Botha then postponed the case to Thursday, where her discussion will be heard.

On the evening of 13 to 14 November, Fritz, the mother of two young children, was found brutally murdered in her car. Her ex-husband was arrested on the morning of 14 November by the Randfontein Police and has been charged with her murder.
