#ThrowBackThursday: R’fonteiners bowl them over
Yet another successful bowling season for the Randfontein Bowling Club.
This #ThrowBackThursday the Herald will be looking at yet another fantastic bowling season at the Randfontein Bowling Club.
The Herald has been reporting on the consistent successes of the club over the years.
These are some of the results of the club’s respective leagues:
The women’s team took the third spot in their Wednesday League.
In the Saturday Mixed League the club took the 5th place in Division 1 and 3rd place in Division 2.

The men’s teams took 4th place in the seven-a-side Division 3 League and 2nd place in the four-a-side Division 2 League.
The club will also be hosting their annual Bowls Women’s Day on Wednesday, 19 April and encourage the community to join them for a day of bowling fun.
Female bowlers from the district will get together at the club to celebrate women in bowls.
