Yet another ‘Teiner in the Miss South Africa competition

8-year-old Busi Khumalo is in the running for Miss Petite Junior South Africa.

They say dynamite comes in small packages and Busi Khumalo proves this in her blossoming pageantry career.

Busi is the daughter of Mzi Khumalo, the Rand West City Local Municipality Executive Mayor. She is a 8-year-old Grade 2 learner at Randfontein Primary School (Rem) and said she is proud resident of the municipality.

She is currently a Miss Petite Junior South Africa entrant and is looking to take the crown. In fact, she is confident she will take the crown.

“I will become a princess or should I say Miss Petite Junior South Africa 2017 overnight. I’m ready to make my community proud, and prove to them that with God all things are possible,” Busi said confidently.

Other than being a fabulous personality in the pageantry world, her hobbies include singing, dancing and helping the other learners in her class.

When Busi grows up, she wants to become a pilot. “It looks so cool flying that big aeroplane,” she said.

This young pageant queen’s motto is, “It is not how much we have but how much we enjoy it that makes us happy.”

To vote for Busi to take the crown, SMS her name and surname to 47018 (SMSes cost R2 and free SMS bundles do not apply).

Alternatively, she can be voted for on Facebook by visiting the Face of South Africa page, searching for her photograph and clicking on ‘Like.’
