It’s time you decide!

What you decide will steer your life in that exact direction you chose.

Decisions are like a steering wheel in the life of every person.

What you decide will steer your life in the exact direction you chose. Almost every day there are decisions to be taken – either good or bad, serious or simple, right or wrong.

Taking decisions is part and parcel of life. A person who takes a good decision is better than a person who takes a wrong decision but a person who took a wrong decision is better than a person who took no decision at all. Failing to take a decision is like waiting and hoping that someone will come and do what you’re supposed to do, so for me it’s a sign of weakness and fear.

Many people delay their lives by running away from taking decisions. Most will say I have prayed about it, I’ll wait on the Lord. That’s the most appropriate excuse I have ever had in life.

I understand the praying part, but I don’t get the waiting part. The Bible clearly states that faith without deeds (action) is dead. So you should pray about the circumstance then decide on the action (the direction) you’re about to take, since you have already prayed and believe God will influence your decisions.

General examples; you can’t keep on being abused in a relationship, either physically or emotionally, and all you say is: I’m praying about it and waiting on the Lord. My friend, let me advise you, decide to leave that relationship before it’s too late.

When you are hungry, you must go look for food with the hope that God will provide, or do you also pray and wait upon the Lord?

Pray, decide and go get it …
