Baby sanctuary aims to implement wall of fame

'I believe donors deserve recognition, and sometimes we forget to really thank them,'

The Just In Time Baby Sanctuary aims to add a unique flair to their wall in an effort to showcase their donors to the rest of the community.

The wall will be called ‘The Wall of Fame’. Whether it is a company or an individual, each donor will have the opportunity to put their logo or name, along with a message (if desired) onto the wall.

“I’ve had this idea in my head for quite a while, so now I’m taking action. I believe donors deserve recognition, and sometimes we forget to really thank them. This is why we want to thank them by giving them the opportunity to advertise on our soon-to-be wall of fame,” said Georgina Caetano, the founder of the Sanctuary.

According to Georgina she aims to implement this idea, which she feels is something unique, in January next year.

“We really want to give small and big donors the deserved recognition. Every R100 counts,” she concluded.

On another note she would like to encourage the people of the community to donate any secondhand goods to the sanctuary. She aims to re-sell these items through a pop-up second-hand shop in her garage in a further effort to generate an income to ensure the Sanctuary’s survival.
