Disabled teen goes missing

Have you seen disabled Sháleen Sarah Butcher, 18?

An 18-year-old disabled teenager recently went missing and the Randfontein Police are doing everything they can to find her.

The teen, Sháleen Sarah Butcher, went missing on Wednesday, 16 November sometime between 6am and 9.30am in Tier Street, Greenhills.

The matter was reported to the Randfontein Police Station, and Warrant Officer ET Makunye has since taken up the case.

Sháleen was last seen wearing pajamas but it is suspected that she may have changed her clothes since then. She might now be wearing jeans and a top.

Her mother, Charmain Cunningham, lives in Tier Street, Greenhills, while her father lives in Port Elizabeth.

Charmain said she fears for her daughter’s life and is worried that a stranger might hurt her because of her condition. Sháleen has no phone or bank account. Her return home is imperative as she is disabled.

Sháleen’s description:

• Height: 1,8 metres
• Build: Chubby, tall build
• Eye colour: Green eyes
• Hair colour: Brown hair
• Facial features: Broad nose and average sized lips
• Tattoos/ scars: Small scars on her face, no tattoos, no piercings and no spectacles
