Farm attack: Masked suspects on the run

Masked suspects armed with knobkieries strike in farm attack.

The Westonaria Police are searching for masked suspects and stolen sheep after a recent farm attack.

“Four suspects wearing balaclavas struck the Dooringpoort farm at about 10pm on the night of Wednesday, 24 August”, said Captain Siphiwe Ndlovu, Westonaria Police spokesperson.

Ndlovu added the complainant alleged he and his coworkers were in the farm’s wendy-house when a suspect kicked the door open.

The four masked suspects were armed with knobkieries and attacked the victims with them. They later took an unknown number of sheep and cellphones from victims and fled the scene on foot in different directions.

Police were informed of the incident and recovered 63 stolen sheep, but the suspects are still on the run.
