Child, 6, among several people injured in crash
No serious injuries were sustained in this collision
A six-year-old child was among several people injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Khutsong Road between Carletonville and Khutsong during the morning of Sunday, 21 August.
According to the report from Chitra Bodasing, the ER24 spokesperson, ER24 and other paramedics arrived on the scene and found a male passenger still trapped in one of the vehicles. He was freed by the Fire and Rescue department. It was found that he’d sustained moderate injuries.
The driver and four passengers from the second vehicle sustained minor injuries. All other patients, including the child, sustained moderate injuries.
All patients were taken to hospital for further assessment and medical care.
The exact cause of the collision remains unknown. Authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
