YouTube just got a whole more distracting

From video statistics to doge meme, YouTube has enough to keep you procrastinating.

YouTube can be distracting at the best of times and that distraction is about to get a whole lot bigger with the following YouTube Easter eggs.

YouTube is packed full of Easter eggs and sadly some have been removed over the years. The list below is still on YouTube and is ready to be discovered by you.

Stats for nerds

Stats for nerds

Now, this is not the most eleborate of YouTube’s Easter eggs but it’s one nonetheless.

If you right click on any YouTube video you will see a tab that reads, “Stats for nerds,” which basically gives you all that you need to know about the video because nerds would care about that kind of thing.

Do the force, Luke

Youtube Easter Eggs

Star Wars could very well be the greatest film series of our time (who are we kidding, it is the greatest film series of all time) and as such, there have been many Easter eggs dedicated to it.

If you go to any YouTube search results and type in, “Do the force, Luke,” and your search results will be moved by the force so basically you’ll be left feeling like Skywalker himself.

Doge meme – very wow

Doge meme

The internet’s most loved meme and dog has it’s own Easter egg on YouTube because no big event is complete without very wow, much happy doge meme.

Type, “Doge meme,” into your YouTube search box and YouTube’s font will turn into the Comic Sans font which is a reference to the doge meme.

The Harlem Shake

Harlem Shake

Do you remember the Harlem Shake?

Well, it has it’s own Easter egg and it’s stuck around after all this time. If you search, “Do the Harlem shake,” your search results will start playing the song by Baauer and will shake when the beat drops.
