New extreme sport at Show
Show coordinator: Bag Jumping is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Every year there is something new at the Randfontein Show and 2016 will be no different.
It takes place at the Greenhills Sport Stadium from 3 to 6 March and anyone is welcome to attend.
We like to keep things interesting so this year we are focusing on what could be considered a new ‘extreme sport’ at the Show.
“We have introduced bag jumping and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted!” said Marcelle Mans, show coordinator.
Anyone who is height phobic or has just eaten should avoid this exciting new activity. It’s a sport that gives a new meaning to the concept of adrenalin rush.
“If they are brave enough, members of the public will be able to jump from a platform of between three and eleven metres high onto a large airbag.
It may not sound that high but once you are standing on the platform looking down at the bag, you will realise just what you have let yourself in for,” said Marcelle.
Come and earn your bragging rights by jumping on the exciting new Randfontein Show Bag Jump – from Friday 4 March to Sunday 6 March at only R50 per jump.
