A 90-year-old man had to be airlifted to hospital after he was attacked by a dog in Water’s Edge in the Carletonville area on Thursday.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the man lying on the ground. Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man was in a critical condition.
“He sustained multiple severe injuries. Paramedics treated the man. He was transported to hospital for further medical care,” said Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson.
