R’fontein’s blue monkey strikes again

Resident: He's a big man, he's no small monkey.

Another resident has spotted Randfontein’s mysterious blue monkey.

Dries de Jager, a resident of Helikon Park saw the monkey in his yard while his wife was sitting outside. He said that the monkey jumped out of a tree in their yard, landed on their grass and showed it’s teeth to his wife.

After the monkey’s performance he jumped back into the tree, continuing with his berry feast. De Jager said the monkey then climbed on their roof and later went to the yard next door.

He’s a big man. He’s no small monkey.

“I think it could be the same monkey that was spotted in Greenhills,” said de Jager.
