Five injured in R28 crash
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find both vehicles on the side of the road.
Five people were injured after two vehicles collided on the R28 in Westonaria yesterday afternoon.
Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24 said,
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find both vehicles on the side of the road. It is understood that one vehicle collided with the second vehicle at the intersection. On further assessment, paramedics found that five people had been injured in the collision. Fortunately the injuries sustained were only minor.”
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Leratong Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
