Pupil denied bail after stabbing

School boy in court for stabbing fellow pupil to death.

The teenager who was arrested for the stabbing and killing of a fellow pupil in Bekkersdal has been denied bail.

The pupil allegedly stabbed another pupil outside the school premises without any alleged provocation.

The victim was then rushed to a local clinic but was declared dead on arrival according to Linkie Lefakane, spokesperson for the Bekkersdal Police.

The teen appeared before the Westonaria Magistrates’ Court on Monday when his bail application was denied. He is set to appear in court again today.
