Eric has to deal with his past in order to reconnect with his destiny.
Eric and Jason work for a large intelligence corporation called Sky Corp, but are are working on a new game on their own time.
After exploring an abandoned warehouse as a possible location for their game launch party, Eric meets a mysterious artificially-intelligent being residing on an old mainframe.
The system is in a bad shape and threatens the continued existence of the being, or XJ-1, as Eric now calls him.
