BREAKING NEWS: Woman’s body found near school

'The deceased had strangulation marks on her neck and her eyes were swollen.'

Police have confirmed that the body of a woman, 32, was found behind a local school.

The body was found on Thursday at approximately 7.30am behind AB Phokompe Secondary School in Mohlakeng.

According to Rebecca Phithi, acting spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Cluster,

The deceased had strangulation marks on her neck and her eyes were swollen.”

Phithi added no weapons were found at the scene. No arrests have been made yet.

“A case of murder has been opened at Randfontein Police Station,” she said.
