Brandvlei horror crash: Late principal’s daughter survives
'She has femur fracture, arm fracture and head trauma' — Medic.
Former principal of Hoërskool Riebeeckrand (Rierand) and late principal of Nic Diederichs High Technical School, Gunther Buhner was one of six people who passed away in the Brandvlei horror crash over the weekend.
It is believed his daughter, Jané Buhner, 16, and pupil of Hoërskool Noordheuwel survived the crash and is currently in hospital being treated for her serious injuries.
“She has femur fracture, arm fracture and head trauma,” Tessa Viljoen, medic at Quick Response Services (QRS) confirmed.
The condition of the other three survivors is unknown.
Rierand’s Facebook page exploded with warm and encouraging messages for the family during this tough time.
