Twelve people were injured following an accident on Robert Broom Drive in Krugersdorp on the West Rand on Friday morning.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Santi Steinmann “Paramedics and provincial services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus had rear-ended another minibus.
“Upon assessment of the commuters, paramedics found that twelve people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation. Traffic was affected as a result of the accident.”
