Bikers burn rubber for a good cause

Bikers' hearts go out to the elderly.

Ablaze MCC Westvaal had a mass ride on Saturday (30 May) to collect blankets for the elderly at Milestone Old Age Home.

They were able collect over 90 blankets for the elderly, which they delivered to them in person. This particular bikers club’s members are well known for their charity events and work in our community.

The elderly were extremely thankful for this kind gesture, knowing they would be kept warm through the chilly days and nights.

The event was a huge success and Ablaze would like to thank all involved for their contributions and support.

Pick n Pay contributed the bin in which the blankets were collected.
