Man killed in collision near Potch
‘He was assessed but unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him.’
A man believed to be in his 20’s was killed in a collision between the vehicle he was driving and a truck early on Friday.
According to ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing “The collision took place on the N12 direction Joburg at the R54 turnoff heading towards Vereeniging, about 5km from Potchefstroom.
“When paramedics as well as Fire and Rescue Services arrived on scene they found the man still in the vehicle. He was assessed but unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him. He was declared dead.
“The exact cause of the collision is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
