Community up in arms over Eskom’s plan

'The herald vows to be the eyes and ears of the public'.

If daily load shedding wasn’t enough, Eskom recently announced that they plan to disconnect at least 20 owing municipalities in June.

Two of those municipalities include Randfontein and Westonaria.

The question is how did both manage to get so deep into trouble that electricy giant Eskom decided to pull the plug?

Miss appropriation of funds perhaps? Stealing?

Well this could be revealed soon as the herald vows to be the eyes and ears of the public.

Now, thousands of people will suffer the consequences.

• “The only way we can ensure that the Municapality dont waste our money is to not pay the electricity account into their bank, in other word when receiving your account pay your rates and taxes regardless but pay the electricity bill directly to Eskom, in the week to come i will try and negotiate this with Eskom. I believe that some bussinesses are allready talking of following the same strategy. I am also seeking legal advise on initiating or laying a formal crimanal charge against the Municapal Manager for fraud and miss appropiation of funds.”
