The power outage currently being experienced by residents on Kenneth Road and Mimosa Avenue in Greenhills is as a result of cable theft.
Municipal workers currently on scene said they cannot give an exact time as to when the electricity will be on but did mention it should likely be on before the end of the day.
In addition to this, the cables are being replaced with aluminium to prevent future cable theft.
